An Oregon Coast Elopement
Congratulations to Andy & Heather who were married May 20th, 2014. Their Oregon coast elopement was exactly what they hoped for.
Andy & Heather chose to pair our Officiant Services along with a stay in our Cottage at Sandlake Country Inn. Another great choice they made was to hire our recommended photographer, Dee Brausch of Dee Brausch Photography.
Like a lot of couples that come to the beautiful Oregon coast to get married, they were unfamiliar with our local beaches. Arriving a day before their elopement gave them the opportunity to explore the different beach options.
Andy & Heather were so excited when they told us they found “THE PERFECT BEACH!”
The beach they chose is one we call The Secret Beach. It’s one of those hidden gems that you only know about with the help of a local. We get great pleasure sharing our Three Capes Scenic Loop area with our guests and wedding couples. Some beaches are very easily accessible and others take a bit of leg work to get to. The Secret Beach is one where you need to be able to go down and up some rustic steps (no handrails) and traverse over some rocky beach before getting to the sandy area. If you have older guests/witnesses, this beach would not be the best choice.
Oh, how gorgeous are these photos! We think that Dee Brausch was able to capture Andy & Heather’s joy of life and love for each other.
When you are planning your Oregon coast elopement, it’s so important that it represents your personality. Feel free to go all out if you want and be formal or go barefoot! It’s your day and one you’ll remember forever.
We’re so honored that Andy & Heather chose Oregon Coast Weddings & Elopements to be a part of their special day. It’s one we’ll remember for a long time.
